In a bizarre collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.

The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
